Kerry studied Architecture at the National University of Singapore. He began his professional career as a Landscape Designer in Singapore in 1988. Kerry later started his own boutique design practice in October 1996. Exciting work opportunity emerged in China in 2003, where he lectured and practised landscape architecture for the next 5 years. Kerry had managed 3 teams of landscape architects at HLCA in Shenzhen, handling a variety of exciting projects throughout China. Kerry moved to Dubai in July 2008 to join US multi-disiciplined firm Burt Hill as a Senior Landscape Architect/Planner. After the global financial crisis had impacted the Gulf Region, Kerry moved to Canada in July 2009 where he lived and worked as a Senior Landscape Architect/Urban Designer in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Vancouver, British Columbia for about nearly two years. Kerry moved back to Asia in early 2011 and held the position of Principal Landscape Architect at GHD in Changsha, China, to oversee an urban design/master planning competition over there. Kerry currently operates as an independent landscape consultant in South-East Asia.
